I know this

I had a meeting at the Volunteers office today. I received my work assignment. I am in charge of anniversaries and recognitions. I guess it is pretty behind. I am excited about this assignment. It is a chance to show what my abilities are. I know it sounds boring to some but I like this kind of work. I left today knowing that this is what I am suppose to do. If I cant own a quilt shop then this is what I am suppose to be doing. I just hope I can find something that will pay me to do this kind of work. It will happen, It will happen, It will happen.......................................

Back to the job search

Well looks like I am back to looking for a job. More pay cuts are coming and it is really going to hurt this time. I need a job this time for sure. ( Please no home base business offers.) I am actually having more luck finding jobs to apply for this time. I have sent out around 18 applications this week alone versus 8-9 in an eight month period last year. That is good news, I think.  I would like to keep my volunteer job as well. I am applying for banks, general office clerks, administration assistant, receptionist, and a couple other jobs. I hope this will work out this time. I could use some extra prayers too. If you don't mind. This really needs to work out. Steve may have to take on a second job too. We have been so very blessed through all of this and been able to pay the bills and buy groceries. It is time to start using the year supply now. In spite of it all I feel a calm and know this is all going to work out one way or another. It always does.

Trainig Day

Yesterday was my training day at the hospital. I had to go through wheel chair training and then I did a little training in the office. I will be working in the Volunteer Services office. It is pretty much what I have experience doing anyway. It felt really good to be their too. I loved it and everyone was so nice. I left feeling so happy. It was a guidance from above and I am so thankful I listened.

So dang busy

I cant believe how busy I am lately. I don't know what is taking up my time. Well I do but most of it cant be helped. It is a little frustrating but then again I am glad I am busy. I have a few sewing projects that went on hold during the holidays that I have wanted to work on but just cant get too. And to think I am throwing more into the mix by working at T-Bird Hospital. Orientation is Thursday.  I am excited! I love learning new things. I have had to go through all of the same screening procedures that employees go through. Lots of safety stuff, rules & Privacy Laws to learn. I like it. Keeps my brain awake. I have had this constant feeling that I really need to obtain a marketable skill for my future. Feels good to finally know what to do about it. Any way I just wanted to post a little update. I have all kinda of things to post and I will. When I get caught up.
