I love Rainbows

The Rainbows are always so bright in the mountains. I was blessed to see this one this past weekend when I was visiting my parents. I didn't see the double one until we turned the corner onto the road to heir cabin. Unbelievable. Truly a miracle.

I love making people happy..............

I was blessed with the opportunity to give the completed quilts to their family. I just wanted to share the pics............... Their were tears. Made me feel great to see the happiness. Very fulfilling.

This is Debbie and Renee. I worked with Debbie at Costco. We were friends from her first day at Costco. We have been through a lot together. Renee has been through a lot too and this baby has changed both their lives. Renee is at 8 months and ready to have this little one. Ladies you remember this stage.

Best phone call ever.............................

I just got the best phone call a few minutes ago. My beautiful beautiful daughter MyKelle called to tell me that she is going through the temple in March of next year. I am so so very proud of her and the hard work she has gone through to get to where she is in her life. She knew she was suppose to be in Colorado. The lord guides you in the direction you are suppose to go. Prayers get answered. I am going to cry for a week now.

My interview

My interview went well. I have to go through one more and them I may have a job. All they have available is part time, front end floater, entry level. They have a couple other departments that need help too but not ones that will work out for me and my family. Not a fan of waking up at 3:30 am. Any way it is a job and things will work out. It will be fine, Ya it will be fine........

Back To AZ.....

Well it looks like it time to come home. I will come home Friday. Then it is off to my interview with Costco on Tuesday next week, July 3oth at 4pm. I am sort of nervous to be honest. It has been awhile and I am already praying that I have all the right answers to the interview questions. I just love them. NOT!!! I understand the purpose but some times it feels like you have to lie to answer them correctly or rather the way they want you too. I actually found this web page that helps you answer the questions. It helps you understand the meaning behind the questions. I have learned a lot these past several months and I am grateful.

Raini is better!!!!!!!

Thank you every one for your care and concern. Raini is doing much better. She is holding food down and drinking like she should. She has to go back to work tomorrow so we will see how that goes and go form their. She rested today and we watched movies together. One of the Movies was the Motor Cycle Diaries. All subtitled. Kind of fun to watch. Pretty good movie. She tells me that she and her sister are talking a lot about how old Steve and I are getting. I knew that already. Comes with growing old. You know when your kids

The weather has been to die for. In the 80's. It seems strange to hear people complain about it. It is hot to them.

I just wanted to thank every one. I hope she stays well. That's what prayers are for.

I say ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baahhhhaaaaaaaa!!!!! Ya right. If I could control it all believe me I would! Have you heard the joke... how do you make God laugh.... Tell him your plans. Maybe I have been doing too much of that lately. It has been pretty crazy lately. Lets see....3 Ear infections, I think I still have one, sinus infections, pulled groin muscle, 2 pay cuts for Steve, Raini getting sick, $875.00 to replace the compressor for the A/C in my car (which was a pretty good price form what I'm told)& a root canal (not done with that yet). I'm not complaining mind you. Just putting it down for the sake of stating it I guess. It helps to put it out their sometimes. Spirits are really pretty good though. I am very blessed to have my family and friends. I am blessed indeed!!!!!

With great adventure.........

...............comes some risk. I am in Cali. with Raini at the moment. I had to fly on the spur of the moment beacuse she was in the ER yeaterday. She ahd been pretty sick since she got home from her trip. At first it seemed like she was jet lagged and very tired. Then the vomiting and diarrhea came. She was very dehydrated by the time I got hear. The hospitol had her on I.V. when I fianlly got to see her. She was pretty sallow. No color and dark rings under the eyes. they let her go home when the I.V was done. We had dinner and she held that down. She is taking a nap right now. She is feeling better today. We went to see Harry Potter. Awesome!!!!!!!! Its a buyer. Then had lunch. That was enough for the day. If she feels better when she wakes up she want to go to the temple. Not much holds this kid down. I am waitng for the possible relapse. It will be great if this is the end but I am the kind that thinks about the other things like relapses. Any way I am glad she went to Korea and the pictures are great. You will have to check out her blog and facebook I think she has put them on. It is all good!!!!!!

Raini is back

Raini is back from Korea and Thailand. I guess she even got to do a little time in China too. What a great adventure. She will blog pictures and tell all about her trip soon. I would have never dreamed of doing something like this when I was her age. Just the environment I was raised in I guess. Strange considering the fact that my Mom loves to travel. Any way, she is home safe and sound and She did a lot and learned a lot. She got to ride elephants, Sleep on the ground every night, experience new foods, hike the jungles, white water river rafting, got kissed by a toothless old man and so much more. Very cool trip.

I'm loosing it......

Well it is official. I have re-applied to Costco. It is my last resort. First let me ask everyone to pray for me so I can get a position in the Administration Department. I am asking everyone I talk to. I would appreciate it. I am pretty sure I can get back on with them and I am grateful that it is available BUT....... I know a lot of people do not understand my dismay about the whole thing so this is the deal with Costco. When a person works retail they are required to be available to work any and all business hours. Business is business. Costco business hours run from 4am to 11:30 pm. Those are hours to be worked by the employee. If you are full time you get to choose your days off but it is given only by seniority and most of the time by favoritism. Part timers don't get any choices. The Administration Dept. is the best dept to work in because the hours are the same every day. Regular 9-5 so to speak. That is why I want this position. I need a regular work week. If I go to any other position I have to work the hours I am scheduled according to the companies needs and this is the equivalent to having someone schedule your whole life the way they see fit. It feels like you have no freedom to live a regular life. Believe me I did it for 16 years. This is why I say "I am loosing it". I am loosing my freedom.... I have grown accustom to having the freedom to take care of my family with out asking Costco for permission to do so. I like being able to schedule a doctors appointment with out worrying if I am going to be able to get the day to go. Costco does not work around church callings. It is near to impossible to hold a calling. It's the important things. But we do what we have to do to take care of our families and this is what I need to do. This is the only way things are going to work for us at the moment. And all in all, I am thankful for the ability to get this job back. So I am asking for prayers so that I can get the admin job and have some semblance of a real life.
